INSTALLATION DOCUMENTS

Craftsmanship: Designing a high-quality LED is a task GTR Lighting took seriously. Unlike so many companies that skimped on every single detail they possibly could, this H7 GTR Ultra Series 2.0 features a multi-faceted design that covers every base with real attention to detail.

The Best: While so many others use Philips or CREE LED chips, GTR went with a high-quality NLW753 option to ensure better results. Those results show through to the finished product too thanks to digitally optimized LED positioning that emulates the original filament location precisely. Combining these features is the key to getting all the light from the source to the reflector surface and ultimately onto your target without wasted lumens and glare all over.

Unstoppable: Consider this, GTR backs the performance of this LED light for life. They can be that confident because of all the work they've done to ensure it won't fail. The internals are 100% potted and waterproof for the wettest of trails or the heaviest rains. That means that the fan will never stop cooling either so temps never rise above 80c, well below the threshold for danger. They knew what they were doing when they assembled this rugged LED.

Better Fitment: We've heard many who assume that because the Ultra Series 2.0 is smaller than competitors that it's weaker and less capable. They couldn't be more wrong. Thanks to that small stature, it requires less energy to keep cool and keep power to the LED up. That results in 4100 lumens of output and a considerably easier time installing them. There are zero downsides here.

Best Warranty: We can't overstate this. You won't need another headlight bulb after these ones. They're so solid and strong that GTR backs them for life.

Motorcycle use - YES!

by

Easy to install in between the factory harness. Simple plug & play will provide you with very bright views at night to see and be seen. I also installed the PWM interface modules to avoid error messages. Just remember to rotate the bulb body to ensure correct orientation. Ride at night with confidence!

Summer insects love LEDs?

by -

2013 BMW S1000RR received a pair of GTR Ultra 2.0 today. These bulbs are seriously bright. If you are still futzin' around trying to find the brightest halogen bulb by Philips, Osram, PIAA, etc., call off the dogs and just go with GTR; these LEDs play on a totally different league. Installation was really easy for the H7 configuration. You'll most likely need a deeper dust cover for motorcycles (certainly for the S1KRR). There isn't much room to stuff leads and modules.
Pro Tip: As the HR video shows, install the rotating collar first and then insert the lamp assy. in an angle then turn to adjust.
I'm still trying to figure out if I need to use the anti-flicker links that I bought. When I kill the power, the bulb does flash once; let’s see how they fare in the coming days to decide if I keep the links.
Now, if I could only keep the bugs from being attracted to the piercing light. Seriously - it's ridiculous how many bugs will flock to you, compared to regular halogens.

Very impressed

2017 toyota tundra trd offroad with alpharex pro series projector headlights. Matches the DRL strip. No modifications needed to install in the cap inclosed housing. If the cap doesn't sit sealed, flip the led around and have the wires the other way. Passenger side sits a bit different from driver side. Headlights + gtr 2.0 LED's were just as much as the built in led headlights from alpharex but the idea of them going out and not able to replace just the bulb is crazy.
Great bulbs and killer warranty. I will be buying more from this company.

Perfect H7 led for Alpharex Pro Headlights on 2020 F150

by

Purchased Alpharex Pro headlights for my 2020 F150 in July. Improved output over OEM but not as much as I was looking for and wrong color. Purchased Hikari H7 led and they were an improvement but not as much output as expected and a bit of a weird pattern no matter how I positioned them. Did some research and thought I would try these and wow! what a difference. Exactly what I was looking for regarding color and out put. Sure the bulbs are a bit expensive but they work very well in the Alpharex Pros. I would say output is as good as the Alpharex Nova headlights but several hundred dollars cheaper and the Pros look much better.
Summary: perfect H7 led for the Alpharex Pros!

GTR Ultra 2s in Ram 1500

by -

What can I say about these lights that have no already been said? They simply perform and look fantastic. I bought them as an upgrade to the aftermarket headlight assembly kits that I bought for my Ram because it's hard to go with halogen bulbs when you've been running LED lights for so long. I've had the V4s in my factory reflector kits for years and loved them. But I wanted to make some modifications to my truck for a "newer" look. Nonetheless, changing the headlights and tail lights was the order of the day. After seeing I was going to have to change LED assembly kits (from H11 to H7), I went to HR to see what was new. I saw the GTR Ultra 2s were being promoted and decided to give them a try. Needless to say, they look perfect in my projector headlight kits. The cut off line is clean and crisp. I see even FURTHER down the road since the beam pattern is so much more focused; I never knew that there would be such a huge difference between projector and reflector kits...if you're contemplating buying them, just buy them. You won't be disappointed.

H7 LED bulb adapter did not fit Ultra 2

by -

So I tried to install these on my 2017 Jetta GLI and I was unable to find an adapter that fit the ultra 2's. All the adapters I tried from amazon and even the one from GTR lighting did not fit. They only fit after bending the whole clip. The lights are great quality but make sure to confirm that they fit your vehicle before buying.

Dress appropriately....

by

After spending at least 5 minutes per side in swapping out my "top of the line" halogens in my BMW X3, I threw the switch in broad daylight expecting to hear the sad trombone. OMGarsh! Instead of brass and woodwinds I heard cheers and fireworks! Thank Jeebus I wore my brown pants although I'm not sure if a tighter fit would've helped to hide my thrill at seeing the candlepower of the GTR Ultra 2 headlamps. Imagine running halogens in 2020... ha! Even if the installation required a torch and a hammer it still would've been worth it. So if you're on the fence, maybe balking at the price (because instantly seeing better on a stormy night while hurtling 70mph down a narrow two lane as your family sleeps beside you may not be the ROI you had in mind) or feeling a little sweaty about the installation... bruh... Just remember to choose the perfect pair of pants.

Smashing :muscle::+1:

by -

I tried a few different types of brands. No Chinese. They al all were better than stock halogen. But these, they're a few steps higher. The amount of light in front of the car... mutch mutch better. Just mist some kind of mark's on the back of the t- mounting, so you could them lined up straight once in the projector. But it was it worth. Good job HR
